Frequently Asked Questions

The volunteers of Agape Street Ministry walk the streets of Vancouver's Downtown Eastside where they pray with women. They distribute small candy bags, rosaries, prayer cards, gift bags, and other essentials (depending on the season) to show love and support and give women hope for the future. Volunteers also help put women in touch with Sancta Maria House, a healing and recovery home for women overcoming addiction.

We are a collection of Catholic lay people who adhere to the doctrines of the Catholic faith.

Yes! Agape Street Ministry is a registered charitable organization that relies primarily on the generosity of private donors. The organization is ran primarily by the same volunteers that assist with the ministry work. Financial support is essential to ensure the ability to continue to fulfill the mission and visions of the independent organizations. As no financial contribution is too small there are several ways to support the work of Agape Street Ministry.
